On a cold windy day in Salt Lake City, Zack Hodgson—Varsity Quarterback @ Olympus High School, spent Spring Break 2014 working out with long-time Coaches/QB Gurus Scott Cate & Alex Cate, and Alabama QB Cooper Bateman. Zack missed his entire Junior season due to an ACL injury in the second game of the year. In late September 2013 renowned surgeon Dr. Verne Cooley replaced Zack's ACL. Thanks to Dr. Cooley's expertise, and the incredible talents and efforts of personal trainer Mark Aberton... ZACK is BACK, and stronger than ever!
Because Zack missed his entire Junior season he doesn't have the "film" coaches are asking for. Since numerous college football programs have expressed interest in Zack, we shot this video and created this website in an attempt to show that Zack can flat out play. While it isn't perfect, we're hoping this video, along with the sequence of plays from Zack's appearance at last year's USC "Rising Stars" Camp, will show key aspects of his throwing motion until we can add to it with footage from upcoming 7-on-7s, numerous college camps this June, and actual game footage this fall. Our goal is to update the site frequently with new footage that will continue to showcase Zack's talents and potential.
Currently Zack's QB training is continuing under the direction of Scott Cate, Alex Cate, Aaron Whitehead—Olympus High School Head Football Coach, Olympus QB Coach Riley Jensen, and Trainers Mark Aberton and Kyle Aberton.
